Not holding it too tight but just enough NOT to let go; how you DON’T hold me like I’m a total princess but holding me like I belong to you. I like how my fingers fit perfectly on the spaces in between yours. I like how you pat your lips on the back of my hands like they were so precious to you. I like how you whisper “I love you” every time you kiss them. I like how sometimes you get mad at me when I don’t hold you back, it makes me feel wanted and needed. I like you. A lot, really.

Celebrating our 58th month alone. Huhu. But it’s okay cuz I know I’m much closer to seeing him again. Aaaand, I know I’m not alone.
